Norton Industrial Development Authority
The Norton
Industrial Development Authority (NIDA) was created by the City
of Norton pursuant to the “Industrial Development and Revenue
Bond Act”, Title 15.1, Chapter 33 of the Code of Virginia,
for the purpose of acquiring, owning, leasing and disposing of
properties in order to promote industry and develop trade through
assisting manufacturing, industrial, governmental, and commercial
enterprises to locate in our community.
